Ibrahim Maalouf is a French-Lebanese trumpet player, teacher, composer, and arranger, born on December 5, 1980, in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2006, he founded a label that was later renamed. He is the son of trumpeter and pianist Nada Maalouf, the nephew of a writer, and the grandson of journalist, poet, and musicologist Rushdi Maalouf.
