Igor Wakhévitch is a French avant-garde composer, producer, keyboardist, and painter, born on May 12, 1948, in Gassin-Saint Tropez, France. He learned music from a young age, starting his education at the age of 6 with a French classical pianist. He has also studied under other notable figures. In 1974, he collaborated with others, resulting in their opera poem. Wakhévitch has worked with artists such as Carolyn Carlson and Terry Riley. He is recognized as one of the first French composers to use synthesizers, including the Moog, ARP2066, and Synthi AKS. He has spent nearly 30 years in India.
