Ika Black is a London-born female singer who began her career in 1979 with the release of her hit single "Goodbye Little Man," credited to "Sister Love," featuring Ika Black on lead vocals alongside Carol Williams and Sandra Williams on harmony vocals. Her follow-up hit, "Every Bit Of My Heart," further established her presence in the music scene. In 1981, Ika Black produced her first work for her own label, I-ONE-I, with the release of "Human Life." She continued to release music, including "Crucial World" in 1983.
