Ike Yard is a band that originated in New York in 1979, founded by Stuart Argabright (percussion/synthesizer/vocals), Kenny Compton (bass/vocals), Fred Szymanski (percussion/synthesizers), and Michael Diekmann (guitar). The original lineup released one EP on Les Disques Du Crepuscule and a self-titled LP on Factory America before disbanding in 1983. In 2007, the band reformed as a three-piece with Argabright, Compton, and Diekmann, and began releasing new music, starting with the Öst EP in 2009.
