Ikebe Shakedown is a dynamic musical group known for their unique blend of cinematic soul, Afro-funk, deep disco, and boogaloo. Over the past four years, they have crafted a distinctive sound characterized by a powerful horn section and tight, deep-pocketed grooves. The band consists of Barnaby Alter on drums, Dave Bourla on percussion, Vince Chiarito on bass, Robin Schmidt on guitar, Mike Buckley on tenor and baritone sax, Jason Colby on trumpet, and Nadav Nirenberg on trombone.
