In Embrace is an English leftfield pop-rock band from Leicestershire, formed in 1981 by Gary Knight and Cameron Lindo following the breakup of their previous group. Lindo departed in 1982, after which Knight brought in Richard Formby on guitar and former 3 Way Dance drummer Joby Palmer. In 1984, Stephen Rees joined the band as the bassist.
