INHALT, meaning "content" in German, is the primary project of producer and songwriter Matia Simovich. In 2009, Matia collaborated with vocalist Philip Winiger to create a trilogy of EPs for Dark Entries Records, titled “Vehicle,” “Occupations,” and “Commerce.” These works were crafted in response to the chaos of neo-liberal capitalism, surveillance, and the significant economic displacement they observed while living in San Francisco. INHALT has also released a Part Time Punks Session for Cleopatra Records, a remix EP on Emotional Especial, and an extended 12” for London’s World Unknown Records. The duo frequently engages in remix projects, contributing to artists such as The Big Pink, Sfire, and Automelodi.
