Inner City is an American house and techno group formed in Detroit in 1988. The group was originally composed of producer and composer Kevin Saunderson and vocalist Shanna Jackson. Kevin Saunderson is renowned as one of the Belleville Three, the main originators of the Detroit Techno sound. His wife has also been involved in the group. Currently, Inner City consists of Kevin, their son, and a vocalist.
