The Innocence Mission is an American indie rock band formed in 1985 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As of March 2016, the current line-up includes Karen Peris on vocals, guitar, piano, and organ; Don Peris on guitars, drums, and vocals; and Mike Bitts on bass guitar and vocals. Steve Brown, a former member who played drums, left the band in 1998 to pursue a career as a chef at Lily's on Main in Ephrata, PA.
