Insides is a two-piece band comprising J. Serge Tardo, who handles guitar, samples, programming, and piano, and Kirsty Yates, who provides vocals and plays bass guitar. Both members are former members of Earwig. Their music features icy electronic pop that delves into the darker aspects of love and sex. Insides’ songs reflect the emptiness and hostility that can arise after the initial excitement fades, depicting unsettling scenes marked by violence, self-loathing, and cold caresses.
