Invisible Conga People started as a duo in 2005, focusing on private, extended improvisations in the basement of Exit Art gallery in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC. They transported a studio's worth of gear to various venues for live shows, performing primarily in New York, with the exception of one trip to Japan. The duo released two 12-inch records featuring condensed, edited versions of longer pieces from their live performances. In 2010, they moved their home base to the "Hint House" loft space in Harlem, but within a year, the building was marked for demolition. They eventually went their separate ways, and since then, Simon has produced all ICP material.
