Irakli Charkviani (Georgian: ირაკლი ჩარკვიანი; November 19, 1961 – February 24, 2006), also known by his pseudonym Mephe (მეფე, "The King"), was a Georgian poet, prose writer, and musician. He was recognized for his eccentric image and distinctive poetry, as well as his eclectic musical style, which included alternative rock, electronic music, and hip hop.
