Isabelle Antena, born Isabelle Powaga on May 28, 1960, in Villepinte near Paris, is a French pop and jazz singer. She began her career in a trio on a label based in Brussels, Belgium, touring with various artists. Her first solo album was recorded in London with Martin Hayles, and she gained particular popularity in Japan as a solo artist. Over the years, she has released several solo albums under the name Isabelle Antena, as well as recordings with the Powaga Sisters and other names. In 2003, she contributed to an album titled Camino Real and released a best-of compilation called L'alphabet Du Plaisir. In 2006, her song "Nothing To Lose" was featured on another album. After the release of her French Riviera album, a collaboration with producers from the Japanese nu-jazz scene, she took a break from music. However, she made a comeback with a new album in 2017. Fun fact: in the 1970s, she worked as an au pair for Rick Wakeman. Her daughter has chosen the same family name as her pseudonym.
