Issa Bagayogo (born 1961, Mali – died 10 October 2016) was a renowned Malian singer and musician known for his mastery of the kamele n'goni, a six-stringed West African instrument. He upheld the griot tradition by addressing important social issues such as racial tolerance, regional pride, and drug abuse among youth in his music. Bagayogo was celebrated for his unique fusion of traditional African styles with electronic beats, earning him the nickname "Techno Issa," a name widely used by his fellow Malians. He frequently collaborated with a keyboardist in his musical endeavors.
