J. Frank Wilson and The Cavaliers were a US musical group formed in 1955 in San Angelo, Texas. They relocated to Memphis in the early 1960s before returning to San Angelo in 1962. The group consisted of guitarist Sid Holmes, bassist Lewis Elliott, saxophonist Bob Zeller, and drummer Ray Smith. The lead singer, John Frank Wilson, known as J. Frank Wilson, joined the band after enlisting in the United States Air Force and being stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo.
