Jose A. Cristopher Parra, known as J.A., is a music producer based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, specializing in Dance/Electronic music. He began his musical journey in 2008 by creating Hip-hop and Rap beats. In 2011, he shifted his focus to the Dance/Electronic scene, and by 2014, he was captivated by House Music, leading him to produce EDM beats, Festival Trap, and Bass Music. J.A. gained recognition for his diverse musical styles and his signature sound, particularly with his track "Blast," which became popular in Germany in 2014. The song received support from gaming creators ELoTRiX and MontanaBlack, ultimately going viral due to its unique blend of instruments and catchy sound. In 2018, J.A. collaborated with German producer Voldex to remix "Lullaby" by R3hab & Mike Williams, garnering thousands of listens online and featuring at Bootshaus Cologne and the Airbit One 2018 Festival in Germany. In 2020, he continued his musical evolution with a collaboration with Filipino artist Zirrion, releasing the song "Hallucinations." J.A.'s musical journey is ongoing, with more upcoming songs in the works.
