Jack Diéval was a French composer and jazz pianist, born on September 21, 1921, in Douai, France. He passed away on October 31, 2012. Known as "Le Debussy du Jazz," Diéval was recognized for his contributions to music, having worked with various artists and played two pianos with others. He served as the regular accompanist for notable musicians and was a member of the Board of Directors of SACEM during the years 1982, 1985, 1988, 1993, 1996, and 1997.
