Jackey Yoshikawa And His Blue Comets is a Japanese "Group Sounds" band that was founded in 1957. They gained international attention in 1966 with their song "Blue Eyes," and in 1967, "Blue Chateau" became their biggest hit, possibly selling a million copies. The band performed "Blue Chateau" on their appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1968. Their most successful lineup disbanded in 1972, and the following year, they underwent some personnel changes.
