Jackie Paris was an American jazz guitarist and singer, born on September 20, 1924, in Nutley, New Jersey. He passed away on June 17, 2004, in Manhattan, New York City. During the 1960s and 70s, Paris often performed alongside his wife at the time. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable artists such as Charlie Parker, Lionel Hampton, Charles Mingus, Coleman Hawkins, Terry Gibbs, Gigi Gryce, Donald Byrd, and Dizzy Gillespie, among others. Paris recorded music from the 1940s into the 2000s.
