The Jackson 5 were a musical group composed of five brothers—Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael—hailing from Gary, Indiana, USA. Under the guidance of their father, Joseph Jackson, they gained fame in the music industry. Initially known as The Jackson 5, the group later changed their name to The Jacksons after switching labels from Motown to Epic, with Jermaine opting to stay at Motown while their youngest brother, Randy, joined the group. In recognition of their contributions to music, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as performers.
