Jacob Korn is an artist in residence at the Trans-Media-Lab (TMA) in Dresden-Hellerau, Germany, where he explores the connection between interactive participation and electronic dance music. His work focuses on creating an ideal format for a virtual environment that enhances the traditional dialogue between musicians and audiences at parties, aiming to extend it into a third dimension through audio-visual concerts. Korn utilizes a motion-sensing system to record movements on the dance floor, integrating them into his live sets alongside visually engaging elements, creating a dialogue-like experience. His music features a deeply technoid, melodious house sound. Korn has remixed tracks for Clueso (FOUR music) and has produced records for various international labels, including Running Back, Klakson, and AstroLab.
