Jacques Lejeune, born in 1940 in Talence, France, is a composer associated with INA-GRM since 1969. He began his musical education at the Schola Cantorum in Paris under the guidance of Daniel Lesur and continued at the Conservatoire national de musique de Paris (CNSM) with Pierre Schaeffer and François Bayle. In 1996, he co-founded the Paysaginaire association with François Donato to promote contemporary electroacoustic music, focusing on interpretation, and initiated their first competition.
