Jake Hooker was a guitarist and songwriter, born on May 3, 1953, in Haifa, Israel. He passed away on August 4, 2014, in Malibu, California, USA. Hooker's family moved to the United States when he was a child, and in the 1970s, he relocated to England. He got married in 1977 and returned to Los Angeles in 1978, but the couple divorced in 1993. Although Hooker retired from performing music in 1978, he remained active in the music industry as a manager and music publisher.
