James Fauntleroy is a Grammy award-winning R&B/Pop singer-songwriter known for his extensive contributions to the music industry. He is recognized for his work on the hit record “No Air” by Jordin Sparks featuring Chris Brown, which has sold over 8.5 million copies worldwide. Fauntleroy has penned numerous songs for a variety of prominent artists, including Rihanna, Britney Spears, Brandy, Beyoncé, Timbaland, David Archuleta, Usher, P. Diddy, and Leona Lewis. Recently, he teamed up with Justin Timberlake and producer Rob “Rob Knox” Tadross to form the production team, The Y’s. In 2013, Fauntleroy played a significant role in the writing credits for Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience releases, as well as Drake’s “Girls Love Beyoncé” and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.
