James Last was a German big band leader, composer, and musician, born on April 17, 1929, in Bremen, Germany. He was skilled in playing the bass and piano. He reportedly sold in excess of seventy million albums worldwide. James Last passed away on June 9, 2015, at the age of 86, in Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
