James Moody was an American jazz saxophonist, flutist, and vocalist, renowned for his long musical collaboration with Dizzy Gillespie. He is best known for the hit "Moody's Mood for Love." Born on March 26, 1925, in Savannah, Georgia, he passed away on December 9, 2010, in San Diego, California.
