James Taylor is an American singer/songwriter and guitarist, born on March 12, 1948, in Boston. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 as a Performer. He is the brother of singers/songwriters and rock singer Alex Taylor. Taylor was married from 1972 until their divorce in 1983, and he has two children who are also musicians, including Benjamin Taylor. He was later married from 1985 until their divorce in 1996.
