Janina Miščiukaitė was a Lithuanian pop schlager singer, born on May 10, 1948, in Jonava, Lithuania. She gained fame particularly in the former USSR and Lithuania, celebrating her greatest successes from the 1970s to the 2000s. In 1982, she achieved second place at the "Golden Orpheus" pop festival in Bulgaria. Throughout her career, she performed at various venues, including the Moscow music hall starting in 1972 and was part of the Vilniaus miesto estradinių kolektyvų susivienijimo ansamblis from 1987 to 1992. Janina was married to a prominent Lithuanian saxophone player and took on the name Janina Brazaitienė after marriage. She passed away on February 20, 2008, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
