**Bio: Jasmine** Jasmine is a talented singer hailing from Elizabeth, New Jersey, where her musical journey began, influenced by a family of singers. Her mother, who was approached by Little Jimmy Scott to tour as a teenager, was unable to pursue that opportunity due to her mother's concerns about her age. Jasmine's two older brothers were also singers and performed in a group called the "4 Aces," a Temptations revue, but their dream of a record deal was thwarted when one brother chose job security over music. Encouraged by her family and driven by her passion for music, Jasmine embarked on a successful career as a club and lounge singer. She made her recording debut in 1991 with the hit club track "Luv Dancing," released on the Strictly Rhythm label and produced by Grammy Award Winner Roger Sanchez. The song gained popularity in the U.S. and internationally, becoming a club classic. Jasmine collaborated with Kerri Chandler and YaYa MacDougal on additional club releases, including "Just Can't Be Friends" and "You Came My Way," for a Columbia Records subsidiary in Japan. From 1993 to 1996, she formed the female singing group Xclusive and performed consistently in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1998, Jasmine became a backup singer for DJ Jeffrey Charles of Kiss 104.1, performing with him for two years. While leading her jazz/R&B combo, Free Spirit
