Jasmine Guffond is an accomplished musician who first formed a drums, bass, and guitar trio called BA-KA. She later played bass in an electronic/rock group and was a member of an improvised ambient electronic duo before founding her own project in Sydney in 1997. Guffond has released solo music under her own name on several labels, including Sonic Pieces (Yellow Bell, 2015 / Traced, 2017), Karl Records (Degradation Loops, 2018), and Editions Mego (Microphone Permission, 2020).
