Jaubi is an instrumental quartet based in Lahore, Pakistan, whose name translates to "whatever/whoever" in Urdu. Guided by the principle of creating sounds and feelings that resonate, the group blends influences from North Indian classical music, modal jazz, and hip-hop. Their compositions are founded on structured improvisation, with everything composed by ear and never written down.
