Jawbox is an American alternative rock band that originated in Washington, D.C. in 1989 and remained active until their disbandment in 1997. The band reunited for a one-off show in 2009 and then returned for a full-time reunion in 2019. The current lineup includes J. Robbins on vocals and guitar, Kim Coletta on bass, Zach Barocas on drums, and Brooks Harlan on guitar and vocals. J. Robbins, Kim Coletta, and Zach Barocas were part of the original lineup, with Robbins and Coletta being members since the band's inception. Barocas joined in 1992. Former members include Adam Wade, who played drums from 1989 to 1992, and Bill Barbot, who contributed guitar and vocals from 1991 to 1997 and participated in the reunions until 2021.
