Jay-Jay Johanson is a Swedish singer/songwriter born on October 11, 1969, in Trollhättan. He began composing music as a teenager and achieved significant success with his debut album, "Whiskey," released in August 1996. Recorded at Break My Heart Studios in the Stockholm archipelago, the album featured jazzy vocals paired with trippy, film noir arrangements, leading to his first world tour. Notable tracks from "Whiskey" include "It Hurts Me So" and "So Tell The Girls That I Am Back In Town." Following this success, Johanson released his second album, "Tattoo," in 1998.
