Jaydee, real name Robin Albers, is a multifaceted talent with a background in commercial studies. He was a member of the Dutch national baseball team and a triple Dutch wrestling champion in the category up to 70 kilos. In the 1970s, Albers emerged as one of the first mixing DJs in the Netherlands, performing in clubs nationwide and later hosting his own radio show for 11 years on Dutch national radio. He organized the annual Dutch Mixing Championship five times and has hosted various music and sports programs on national television. His performances have taken him to Denmark, Italy, Germany, and Belgium, as well as to Amsterdam's renowned club scene and major raves across the Netherlands. For three consecutive years, his radio show "For Those Who Like To Groove" was elected Best Dutch Dance Show, earning him an industry award in 1992. In addition to his musical endeavors as Jaydee, Robin Albers runs his own label, First Impression, and operates a club in Vianen, near Utrecht.
