Jayme Marques is a Brazilian musician, arranger, guitar player, and composer, born in 1936 in Campo Grande. He moved to Portugal and Spain in 1960 with "Orquesta Orfeu" and played a significant role in introducing "bossa nova" and "jazz samba" to Europe. With an extensive discography that began in 1975, he has also collaborated with notable artists such as Pedro Iturralde, Paco de Lucía, Augusto Algueró, Tete Montoliú, Ramon Farran, and Joan Manuel Serrat.
