Jean Marie Sens is a French singer, songwriter, writer, and publisher, born on December 8, 1937, in Paris. She began her career in the early 1970s, gaining recognition for her melancholic and poetic protest songs, notably "En Plein Coeur" and "L’Enfant du 92e". Sens is known for her ability to create an imaginative and beautiful world through her music, particularly evident in her children's albums. Her most popular song, "Tant et tant de temps," was featured in her 1977 album "Chansons Pour De Vrai, volume 2," leading to a fruitful collaboration with her composer. Despite initial success, her popularity waned, and she left the music industry in the early to mid-1980s. In the early 1990s, she co-founded the editions Sens & Tonka with Hubert Tonka and has authored several works, including novels, short stories, poems, and photography.
