Jeanne Marie Sens is a French singer, songwriter, writer, and publisher, born on December 8, 1937, in Paris. She began her music career in the early 1970s, gaining recognition for her melancholic, poetic, and protest songs, particularly "En Plein Coeur" and "L’Enfant du 92e." Her work often reflects a longing for a more beautiful, imaginary world, especially evident in the children's records she produced. One of her most popular songs, "Tant et tant de temps," from her children's album "Chansons Pour De Vrai, volume 2" in 1977, marked a significant success in her career. Despite her collaboration with a talented composer, her success waned, leading her to exit the music industry in the early to mid-1980s. In the early 1990s, she co-founded editions Sens & Tonka with Hubert Tonka and has authored several books, including novels, short stories, poems, and photography.
