Jembaa Groove is a multicultural band founded in late 2020 by bass player and composer Yannick Nolting and singer-percussionist Eric Owusu. This 7-piece live band fuses fresh sounds from Berlin's underground music scene with traditional West-African sounds from Ghana and Mali, creating a unique blend of Afro-Soul music that reflects the essence of Ghana's Highlife and the heartbeat of 70s Soul Music. The band consists of Eric Owusu on vocals and percussion, Yannick Nolting on bass, Babatunde Agonglo on guitar, Merav Goldman on French horn, Goncalo Mortagua on saxophone, Moses Yoofee Vester on keys, and Nir Sabag on drums.
