Jemima is an alias used by Mono Gunia in the early 1970s for her krautrock and other musical activities, chosen to avoid conflict with her position at the Bavarian State Opera, where she performed for over 30 years. She is the daughter of pianist Alfons Tiefenböck and the wife of Gunia. In addition to her musical endeavors, Jemima is active as a vocalist, actress, author, and music producer.
