Jericho Jones is an Israeli psychedelic and hard rock band that was active from 1965 until 1973, with reunions in 2015 and again in 2018. In Israel, they are known as הצ'רצ'ילים, which translates to The Churchills in Hebrew. When the band relocated to England and signed with a British label in 1970, they temporarily changed their name to Jericho Jones due to concerns that an Israeli band named Churchill's would not be well received. The original Israeli release and some reissues of their second album feature the name Jericho Jones in English and הצ'רצ'ילים in Hebrew. For their third album, the name was shortened to Jericho. After returning to Israel in 1972, they reverted to their original name.
