Jerry Cole (September 23, 1939 – May 28, 2008), born Jerald Kolbrak, was an American guitarist known for his versatility and innovation. He recorded under his own name, various budget album pseudonyms, and as an uncredited session musician. During the 1960s, Cole was particularly prolific, working with numerous groups and becoming a sought-after studio musician, notably as part of the Wrecking Crew. His talents spanned a wide range, from producing heavy surf sounds to being a rockabilly hall of famer, and he played a key role on the iconic album "Pet Sounds." Additionally, he fronted a post-Van Morrison incarnation of the band THEM. Cole's guitar rig included a custom-built 3/4 size Stratocaster, which was notable for its shrunken black appearance.
