He was a founding member of a band and was married twice. His first wife was unnamed, and together they had two daughters. In 1993, he married his second wife, whom he had met in the 1980s, and they founded an unspecified venture together. They had a son. Jesse Colin Young passed away on March 16, 2025, in Aiken, South Carolina, USA.
