Jesse Johnson is a US guitarist born in 1960 in Rock Island, IL. He moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1981, where he became a prominent member of the band The Time. After the band's split, Johnson found both commercial success and critical acclaim as the frontman of his own group, Jesse Johnson's Revue. Although the Revue only recorded one album, Johnson continued to release music under his own name, with many members of the Revue contributing to his subsequent solo albums. In addition to his performance career, Johnson achieved notable success as a writer and producer for a diverse range of artists.
