Jesse Morrison is a talented saxophone and flute player from Newark, NJ, born on August 3, 1945. He has collaborated with notable musicians such as Jimmy McGriff and Buddy Rich and has worked for Rhoda Scott. Additionally, he toured Europe with DeeDee Warwick. In 1970, he founded the Jesse Morrison Trio, which quickly gained a reputation in the New Jersey area. The trio included Morrison on tenor sax, Ernie Jones on keyboard, Don Williams on drums, and Ralph Byrd on guitar.
