Jim Kandy was an American country singer and songwriter active in the 1960s. Born on September 22, 1931, in Ironton, Ohio, he passed away on June 5, 1996, at the age of 64 in Dayton, Ohio. Kandy achieved recognition on the U.S. country charts twice, first as a singer in 1965 with his song "I'm the Man," which reached #29.
