Jim Morrison was a singer, songwriter, writer, and poet born on December 8, 1943, in Melbourne, Florida, USA. He passed away on July 3, 1971, in Paris, France, at the age of 27. Morrison died in a Haussmannian building at 17 Rue Beautreillis, in his apartment on the 3rd floor, officially from heart failure. He announced his departure in early March 1971 during the recording sessions.
