Jimmy Ford was a US rockabilly singer and songwriter born on February 15, 1937, in Alabama. He performed with Stylo during the spring and summer of 1959. After completing his military service, he moved to Arkansas and played rockabilly music alongside bass player J.T. Rhodes, opening shows for notable artists such as Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. Ford later pursued higher education, earning a PhD from Ohio State University, and became the chairman of the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Arkansas. He passed away in 2008.
