Jimmy Haggett was a country singer known for his rockabilly music, recording on the Caprock, Sun, and Meteor labels. Born James Clecy Haggett on December 2, 1928, in Granite City, Illinois, he played with several bands before forming the Ozark Mountain Boys. In addition to his music career, he worked as a disc jockey at KBOA in Kennett, Missouri, as well as at WWYN and KLCN in Blytheville, Arkansas. He passed away on January 30, 2000, in Piedmont, Missouri, USA.
