Jimmy Heath was an American jazz tenor and soprano saxophonist, flutist, arranger, composer, and bandleader. He was born on October 25, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and passed away on January 19, 2020, in Loganville, Georgia. Jimmy was the middle brother of the Heath Brothers, who were known for their contributions to jazz music. He was also a father.
