Jimmy Ruffin was an American soul singer born on May 7, 1936, in Collinsville, Mississippi. He passed away on November 17, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ruffin was the older brother of a late artist and achieved several hit records between the 1960s and 1980s, with his most successful song being "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted," released in 1966.
